This position serves as a first point of contact for clients and community members, assists with application processing, and performs general clerical duties in support of agency staff and operations.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30
PM Pay:
$18/hr Essential Duties and Responsibilities Answer incoming telephone calls and route calls to appropriate staff members. Greet clients, visitors, and community members in a professional and courteous manner. Receive, review, and process program applications to ensure forms are complete and required documentation is provided. Verify income documentation and other personal records in accordance with program requirements. Make copies, scan documents, and maintain accurate records. File and organize client and program documentation in accordance with agency policies and confidentiality requirements. Retrieve incoming mail and distribute correspondence to appropriate staff members. Assist staff with general administrative and clerical tasks. Maintain confidentiality of client information and agency records. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and community partners. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and email. Ability to review documents for completeness and accuracy. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous administrative, clerical, customer service, or office experience preferred. Experience working with the public and handling confidential information preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
