About Us Sisters Glass and Mirror provides high-quality glass installation for homes and businesses across Central Oregon. We're known for careful craftsmanship, honest work, and treating customers well from the first phone call through final install. We're a small team, and the person at the front desk shapes how our customers experience us. About the Role We're hiring a part-time Front Office Coordinator to help support the front office and keep our customer communication and administrative work moving. This is a consistent, predictable morning schedule — a good fit for someone who wants meaningful office work without full-time hours. You'll open the office at 7:00 a.m., handle the first customer calls of the day, and get our field crews and schedule squared away before handing off to the rest of the office team at 11:00. We're looking for someone reliable and detail-oriented who can work independently and take ownership of the morning. What You'll Do Open the office each morning and prepare the front desk for the day Greet customers and visitors and answer incoming calls and emails with a professional, helpful approach Answer questions about our products and services, and schedule estimates and installation appointments Coordinate with field crews on daily schedules, job details, and customer updates Enter and process invoices, purchase orders, and payments in QuickBooks Online, supporting accurate AP/AR Maintain and improve front office procedures, filing, and recordkeeping Track office supply inventory and place orders as needed Address customer concerns promptly and escalate to the owner or field team when appropriate Hand off open items clearly to the office team at the end of your shift Keep the front office, reception area, and restroom clean and presentable What We're Looking For Required 1+ years in an office administration, front desk, receptionist, or customer service role Comfortable with QuickBooks Online or a similar accounting system, plus email, calendars, and basic spreadsheets Strong written and verbal communication Accuracy with numbers, scheduling, and details Dependable early-morning availability — the office opens at 7:00 a.m. and our crews count on it Able to work independently and prioritize in a busy office Nice to Have Experience in construction, trades, home services, or a related industry Familiarity with job scheduling or estimating software
Schedule and Compensation Schedule:
20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Consistent week to week.
Pay:
$18 - $23 per hour, based on experience and QuickBooks proficiency Paid sick leave: Eligible for Oregon paid sick time, accrued per state law
