POSITION SUMMARY
Provide administrative and clerical support for the Independent Living/Resident Services department at the Lutheran Community at Telford, including keeping resident records up-to-date from admission through move-out. Work cooperatively with a variety of departments to meet resident needs as they arise. Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff and outside visitors.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Director of Resident Services with clerical and communication tasks related to the Resident Services department. Also be available to assist IL Social Worker and Wellness Nurse as needed. Enter resident demographic information into PointClickCare and keep resident paper and electronic files uptodate. Create new resident packets and assist Director of Resident Services with new resident admission checklist. Update and maintain information for lobby directories and Sentex (apartment call box) programming. Manage guest room/suite reservation process. Assist with oncampus room bookings. Input requests for medical appointment transportation. Update and maintain yearly tenant insurance policies for all IL residents. Maintain resident and staff directories in CATIE Web. Set up new residents with resident portal access. Add content to
CATIE TV
as needed. Update and maintain resident parking and storage unit information. Create car tags for new residents and update tags for current residents when information changes. Assist with requests for new or replacement key fobs, key cards and mailbox keys and update key forms accordingly. Assist with completion of annual rent certificates for eligible residents. Perform initial programming of emergency pendants for incoming residents. Update resident information in SARA system. Assist with pendant issues and battery changes. Provide reception desk coverage once a week during the receptionist's lunch break.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM:
High School Diploma. At least 1 year office experience with customer service responsibility. Able to answer phones and transfer messages, be detail oriented.
PREFERRED
High School Diploma and any additional office training. Three or more years of office experience that includes customer service. Be detail oriented and able to work well in team.
