Our new hire will get a first-hand look into one of the most competitive House races in the nation, contribute to our efforts, and learn valuable skills for future political work opportunities. We are currently seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and energetic Administrative Assistant to keep our campaign headquarters running smoothly and support our day-to-day operations. Position Overview The Administrative Assistant will serve as the backbone of our campaign office, providing direct operational and administrative support to the Campaign Manager and candidate. The ideal candidate for the position is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional communication skills, and can handle multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities Office & Visitor Management:
Manage daily front-office activities, including greeting constituents, volunteers, and visitors at the office, answering phones, and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
Event Staffing & Attendance:
Attend and staff campaign events, town halls, and fundraisers to ensure smooth on-the-ground execution and guest coordination.
Meeting Organization:
Coordinate, organize, and schedule internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas, securing venues, and managing logistics.
Schedule & Calendar Management:
Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating candidate appearances, and managing internal campaign calendars.
Data Management:
Maintain and update clean, accurate records within the campaign database and CRM systems.
Qualifications Experience:
Not required. We are open to train. Previous experience in an administrative support role, office management, or political/advocacy campaigns is a strong plus.
Organization:
Strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines under pressure.
Communication:
Great written and verbal communication skills; professional, polite, and discrete when dealing with sensitive information.
Tech Savvy:
Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
