Job Description
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Office Assistant to help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. This is a part-time role that is mostly remote, with up to 3 in-person meetings per month. This role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, is willing to dive into any task that is assigned, and is proactive rather than reactive in their approach to communication. What You'll Do Handle general office management and administrative support Create and send client invoices Track payments and follow up with clients when needs arise Process and pay monthly and vendor bills Support day-to-day client and vendor communication Research products or vendors for new work Assist with light HR tasks (onboarding paperwork, job posts) Collect and organize content for marketing materials and social media What We're Looking For Experience in an office manager or administrative role Comfortable managing invoicing and bill pay Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Reliable, self-starter who can work independently and manage priorities HR experience is a plus, not required Highly self-directed and can manage your own schedule, follow through without reminders, and take ownership of your outcomes Basic social media management and content creation a plus, not required Experience with CRM platforms (we use JobTread - training is available if not familiar) Compensation & Schedule Hourly pay ($20-25/hr DOE) Starting with 15-20hrs a week, daily schedule is TBD based on the right fit Primarily remote with the ability to meet in-person a few times a month, may be more at the start for training Why Join Us Flexible, part-time schedule that works around your life Work that matters: trail systems serve communities, parks, and people who use them every day A small, straightforward team that values autonomy, honest communication, and getting things done without unnecessary overhead Room to grow as the company grows
