Job Description

Beach Properties of Hilton Head, an award-winning Vacation Rental Company, is adding an additional Vacation Planner to its growing company. Beach Properties currently manages 400 luxury vacation rentals and is one of the premier rental companies on the Island. The primary purpose of the Vacation Planner is to assist in the duties of the Reservation Department to maximize bookings by delivering a friendly and efficient reservations experience. Our team is meticulous at administration ensuring that every detail of a customer's reservation has been accurately recorded following established procedures. The ultimate goal of all employees is to deliver excellent customer service, creating a unique experience for the customer which makes them want to return; you should be positive, loyal and a proud ambassador of the Beach Properties of Hilton Head brand.
  • Remote work unavailable for this position. It will require being in an office setting
  • Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Handle telephone, email, internet and 'in person' inquiries efficiently and politely
  • Exceed our customers' expectations by delivering service in a professional, knowledgeable and accommodating way
  • Remain calm, patient and polite if receiving customer feedback
  • Maximize revenue by converting inquiries, recognizing business prospects, and taking every opportunity to upsell
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure the best service is provided to our customers
  • Ensure that all work meets company standards; all paperwork must be accurate and complete, including booking information and payment details
  • General administrative duties
  • Maintain positive working relationships with guests, vendors, other employees, etc.
  • Co-operate closely with team members and other departments to ensure that Beach Properties of Hilton head is the best it can be
  • Set a great example for new employees
Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to work weekend rotations
Desired Skills & Competencies:
  • Minimum of (2) two years' experience in the vacation rental industry
  • Experience with Track CRM Platform (or similar program)
