Job Description
Job Summary The Office Assistant provides general administrative and clerical support to the office team on a part-time basis. This role helps ensure smooth day-to-day office operations by assisting with filing, data entry, correspondence, and front-desk coverage, while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities Greet visitors, answer phones, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, and data entry Assist with preparing, organizing, and distributing correspondence and reports Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed Support scheduling of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as requested Help process incoming and outgoing mail and packages Assist with basic recordkeeping and data entry into company systems Maintain a clean, organized, professional office and reception area Provide backup administrative support to other office staff during busy periods or absences Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in an office or administrative support role Familiarity with general office equipment (copiers, scanners, multi-line phones) Experience with data entry or basic recordkeeping systems Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Compensation & Benefits Flexible part-time schedule Work Environment / Schedule This position works in an office setting within a manufacturing facility. The role primarily involves sitting at a desk and using a computer, with occasional movement throughout the office and plant areas.
