Job Description

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian employees for this position.
Responsibilities:
Performs assigned secretarial tasks for the Chair of the Department of Biology to include scheduling and timekeeping activities, data and records management, documentation and correspondence, light bookkeeping and accomplishing special projects . Work schedule may vary, not to exceed 26 hours per designated workweek, which is Saturday through Friday.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University's mission and who will be an active participant in their local church. A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required. A minimum of 2 years administrative support experience is preferred, preferably in support of a mid- or senior-level manager. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) or similar software is preferred. Must be proficient in general office equipment operation. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills. Must agree to the University's Employee Statement of Understanding.
