Job Description
The City of Ganado is seeking a qualified and motivated professional to serve as City Secretary. This full-time position plays a key role in the daily administration and operations of the City. Responsibilities include preparing City Council agendas and minutes, maintaining official City records, ordinances and resolutions, coordinating municipal elections, processing public information requests, and assisting with accounting, payroll, budgeting, human resources, purchasing, financial reporting, and general City Hall operations. The successful candidate will be highly organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently. Strong communication, computer, financial, recordkeeping, and customer service skills are essential. Municipal government experience and knowledge of Texas municipal laws and procedures are preferred.
