Caregiver - Night Shift (36/48 Rotation) Home Instead -

$15.00 / hour Home Instead of Victoria is looking for a compassionate, dependable Night Caregiver to provide overnight support and companionship for a couple in Ganado, Texas. The husband is currently receiving hospice care, and this position provides essential assistance to both clients while giving his wife much-needed relief from her caregiving duties.

Shift Schedule Hours:

8:30 PM - 8:00 AM (11.5-hour overnight shifts)

Rotation:

36 / 48 hour bi-weekly rotation Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (48 hours) Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (36 hours)

Key Responsibilities Bedtime & Morning Routines:

Assist clients with getting ready for bed, safely transitioning into bed, and assisting with morning wake-up routines, dressing, and getting ready for the day.

Overnight Assistance:

Monitor and assist clients throughout the night as needed, including standby or hands-on assistance for facility/restroom visits.

Daily Care & Support:

Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) based on individual needs.

Nutrition & Medication:

Prepare light meals/breakfast and provide timely medication reminders.

Companionship & Comfort:

Deliver supportive, compassionate care to keep the clients comfortable and supported.

Communication:

Maintain clear shift reports and updates for co-workers transitioning onto the next shift. Pay:

$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 48.0 per week
