Job Description

We are a compassionate, family-centered pediatric therapy clinic dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential through occupational therapy and speech-language therapy services. Our team is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive environment for children and their families while delivering exceptional care. Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Office Coordinator / Billing Insurance Assistant. This role is essential in creating positive experience for families, performing daily administrative operations, and supporting our therapists and clinical team. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, being around children and families, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Greeting and assisting patients and families in a friendly and professional manner. Check In Patients and Collect patient payments. Answer, direct, and respond to phone calls, emails, and other communications in a timely and professional manner. Manage new patient intake and schedule evaluations. Maintaining accurate patient demographic, insurance, and administrative information. Monitor clinic schedules and assist with appointment rescheduling as needed. Send patient's plan of care to doctors. Keeping Track of incoming faxes and distribute accordingly. Support daily clinic operations by performing administrative and clerical duties as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits. Obtain and maintain required authorizations from insurance companies. Follow up with insurance on Outstanding Dates of Service. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred Previous experience in a medical office, therapy clinic, or healthcare setting preferred Experience with Electronic Medical Records Platform preferred Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Proficiency with computers, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail Experience with insurance verification is a plus Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Benefits Paid time off and holidays Medical, Dental, Vision Health benefits (if applicable) Simple IRA with Matching Employer contribution up to certain percentage. Supportive and collaborative work environmentSchedule Full-time preferred but we could work with someone if they just wanted part-time Mostly Monday-Friday but might need to work every third Saturday.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
