Our ideal candidate has great attention to detail and knowledge about a wide range of housekeeping tasks. We would like someone who can come 3 days per week and we can be flexible with which days work best for you. Primary duties include cleaning of the kitchen and living spaces, washing and changing of bed linens & towels, vacuuming, mopping, some clothing laundry & ironing, bathroom cleaning, and dusting. Additionally taking out trash in the house and bringing packages in from outside. Occasionally we will ask you to take care of other tasks like preparing the guesthouse for a guest or deep cleaning closets, etc. The ideal candidate would be flexible with tasks and a great communicator. The day to day needs may vary so someone who doesn't need to follow an exact daily routine is ideal. Please note we have 2 cats and 2 dogs so if you have pet allergies this might not be the ideal situation for you. We also ask that you are comfortable feeding the pets and keeping an eye on them if we aren't home. (letting them out to the bathroom, putting in crate, etc) We will provide all cleaning products, vacuum, mop, etc. We ask that the housekeeper only use our provided products. We are a very fun loving household and often host gatherings and guests. We are understanding that after such an event the kitchen might be messier than normal, for example, so if other things can't be done within the day to accommodate for necessary deeper cleaning we are totally cool with that. All we ask is for communication and flexibility. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or hospitality environments with a focus on housekeeping tasks Strong knowledge of cleaning & laundry techniques Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing tasks throughout shifts Effective communication skills to coordinate with household Your enthusiasm for maintaining pristine environments will make a tangible difference in our lives!
