New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Application Methods:

Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Answer, screen, and route all incoming telephone calls in an efficient and professional manner to appropriate staff. Transfer callers to voice mail and/or take written messages. Look up accident reports using Crash Manager and California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (CLETS) to locate citizen's towed, stored, and impounded vehicles. Assist the public at the front counter and file all task related documents. Complete the data entry for all CHP 180's (Vehicle Reports) and mail out report notification to owner or lien holder. Complete the monthly report entries in the Mark 43 Records Management System (RMS) as required. Keeps an inventory of office and janitorial supplies for Area. Arranges for shipping packages to Headquarters and other Areas for all requested documents. Upon receipt of supplies, verifies items and restocks the storage cabinets. Process all mail request for traffic collisions and photos daily. Working Conditions Office hours:

Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Except holidays. Minimum Requirements
