Overview Join our dynamic team as a Package Handler and become a vital part of our fast-paced warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, sorting, and processing packages to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help keep our distribution center running smoothly, supporting the seamless flow of goods from our facility to customers around the world. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse logistics while working in a lively, team-oriented environment. Duties Load and unload shipments using material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to ensure safe and accurate movement of goods Sort packages by destination, size, and weight, utilizing shipment sorting procedures to streamline distribution processes Operate automatic inserting machines and other warehouse equipment to prepare items for shipment or storage Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary to move packages efficiently Maintain accurate data entry records for incoming and outgoing shipments using Microsoft Office tools and warehouse management systems Assist with mail distribution, shipping & receiving activities, and filing to support overall warehouse operations Conduct inventory checks, organize storage areas, and ensure proper organization of materials for easy access and retrieval Skills Proven experience operating warehouse materials handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, shipping & receiving protocols, and manual handling techniques Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment measurements Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and external partners Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and documentation purposes Outdoor work experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in various working conditions Attention to detail when sorting shipments, filing documents, or operating automatic inserting machines Physical capability for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and manual handling tasks throughout shifts Embark on a rewarding career path where your energy fuels our success! $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
