HIRING EVENT

Monday, October 5th 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Starbucks 3699 McKinney Avenue Dallas, TX 75204 Stop by anytime between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM to meet with our hiring team and learn more about the position.

PAY & SCHEDULE

$19.50 per hour Full-Time 5 days per week 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day required 8-hour shifts Arrival time: 1:00 PM Must be 18+ WHAT

YOU'LL DO

As a Delivery Walker, you will unload packages from a delivery truck, organize them onto a walker cart, and deliver packages on foot throughout your assigned delivery area.

Responsibilities include:

Unload packages from the delivery truck. Organize packages for your assigned delivery area. Load packages onto a walker cart . Push and maneuver the cart throughout your assigned route. Deliver packages on foot to homes and businesses. Use a smartphone for GPS navigation, package scanning, and delivery confirmation. Walk for extended periods throughout your shift. Provide professional and courteous customer service. Follow assigned routes and delivery instructions. Follow all company safety and performance requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active, physical position .

Applicants must be able to:

Lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs. Push and pull a loaded walker cart. Walk long distances throughout an 8-hour shift. Stand and walk for extended periods up to 5 miles. Frequently bend, reach, lift, and move packages. Work outdoors in various weather conditions. Maintain a steady pace throughout the delivery route.

DELIVERY AREA

Delivery routes will be located in designated areas of Central Dallas , including areas around: Downtown Dallas Uptown Oak Lawn Turtle Creek State Thomas Victory Park Arts District Civic Center District Portions of the Design District Exact delivery boundaries and starting/anchor locations will be provided by the company.

STARTING LOCATION

The exact starting points for the Walker program are currently being finalized. Each Walker will be assigned a specific anchor/starting location within the designated delivery area and will receive their reporting location and instructions. Being dropped off at your assigned starting point is ideal, but it is not required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must be 18 years or older Reliable and dependable Strong attendance Positive attitude Strong work ethic Comfortable working independently Comfortable walking for extended periods up to 5 miles Comfortable working outdoors Able to safely operate a walker cart Able to use a smartphone and mobile applications Available to work 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day Previous delivery experience is not required. We're looking for people who are dependable, motivated, and ready to work.
