Anchorage AK, Yard (Lois Drive) Be the First Impression of Our Organization We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our facility. In this role, you will create positive experiences for customers, visitors, vendors, and team members while helping ensure efficient day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where communication and organization are key to success. What You'll Do Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone. Operate a multi-line phone system, answer incoming calls, determine caller needs, and direct calls to the appropriate department or team member. Take and distribute messages or transfer calls to voicemail when necessary. Provide information regarding the organization, including directions, contact information, and general inquiries. Welcome visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and notify appropriate personnel of their arrival. Monitor visitor access and issue visitor passes as required. Coordinate and schedule conference rooms and meeting spaces. Receive, sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail and publications. Support office operations by maintaining fax equipment and assisting with document transmission and routing. Order, receive, and maintain office supplies to ensure the office remains well-stocked and organized. Complete various administrative and clerical tasks, including filing, photocopying, scanning, data entry, and special projects as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. Previous clerical, administrative, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy office environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with standard office equipment and basic computer applications. Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment. Why Join Us?
