Job Description
Our growing estate planning and mediation law firm is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist to be the first point of contact with our clients. We are an estate planning and mediation firm dedicated to building lasting relationships with individuals and families through proactive legal planning, helping resolve disputes, and exceptional client care. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, professional environment where clients feel heard, supported, and confident throughout the estate planning process. This position is in-office and requires someone who enjoys working with people, managing multiple tasks, and keeping the office running smoothly. Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth. Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Schedule and confirm client appointments. Prepare estate planning binders and organize client documents for signing appointments. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, email, and office correspondence. Maintain client files and assist with document organization. Process payments and provide receipts when needed. Keep the reception area and common spaces organized and presentable. Assist attorneys and staff with administrative tasks. Perform other office support duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and learning new software. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced office. Professional appearance and demeanor. Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Current Alaska Notary Public commission is preferred. Candidates who are not currently commissioned must be willing and able to obtain an Alaska Notary Public commission upon hire. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
