Job Description
Bryant Law Partners is a general practice law firm in Fort Smith. We handle family law, criminal defense, probate, estate planning, personal injury and other legal matters. We have a positive, laid-back, family-friendly office environment and are looking for a detail oriented and organized person to add to our team. We are currently hiring for a receptionist for the front desk of our law firm. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. As a receptionist at our firm, you will answer phones, communicate with clients in-person, conduct intake procedures for new clients, complete filing and perform other administrative tasks upon request. As the first point of contact at our office, it is necessary that you possess solid social skills and be able to interact with clients and potential clients in a professional manner. Experience working in a legal setting or familiarity with the local courts system is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train an employee and provide opportunities to learn new tasks and advance to more experienced positions within our firm for eligible candidates. Responsibilities Answer phones Conduct intake procedures with new clients Perform administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, filing and copying documents. Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel to facilitate the flow of information. Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates while managing calendars. Qualifications No legal experience is required, but both experience working in a legal or court setting and/or customer service experience are preferred. Proficiency with computer software systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective client interaction.
