Temporary Front Office Receptionist Arizona Charter Academy - Title I Public Charter School - 4.3 Surprise, AZ Job Details Temporary | Part-time $15.15 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Employee assistance program Qualifications Spanish Customer communication Teamwork Computer literacy Spreadsheets English High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Productivity software Full Job Description Arizona Charter Academy is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Temporary Front Office Receptionist to provide support in our school offices during employee absences on a substitute basis throughout the schoolyear. This position may provide coverage in our Front Office, Student Health Office, or other administrative offices as needed. As one of the first people our families, students, and visitors interact with, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming environment while helping our school operate smoothly. Every day is different, and you'll have the opportunity to support students, parents, staff, and the broader ACA community. What You'll Do Greet students, parents, visitors, vendors, and staff with professionalism and warmth. Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and through email. Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Assist families with questions and provide general school information. Create and maintain student records and files. Assist with student check-in/check-out procedures. Process payments and maintain accurate records. Utilize our Student Information System and other school software. Support daily office operations and administrative projects. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive student and employee information. Perform other office duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Applicants must meet the following qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year of administrative, receptionist, customer service, or related office experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Demonstrated computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
Ability to obtain and maintain:
CPR Certification First Aid Certification Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a school setting. Experience with Student Information Systems such as PowerSchool. Cash handling or payment processing experience. Previous receptionist or front office experience.
