The Strathmore Group (TSG) is seeking a dynamic Receptionist to be the client facing facilitator of "great first impressions". This role will play a vital part in performing clerical, administrative, and various other duties within TSG. It will enhance communication both internally and externally with our vendors, providers, and clients. The selected candidate will work cross departmentally and provide indispensable administrative support to our Account Coordinator and Manager.Essential Duties Reception and Visitor Management:
Greet, welcome, and direct visitors appropriately. Notify company personnel of visitor arrivals. Maintain updated employee and departmental directories and manage conference room scheduling for internal meetings.Phone and Administrative Support:
Manage incoming calls: answer, screen, and forward as needed, while responding to basic inquiries related to benefits, claims, and healthcare services. Maintain the phone and messaging system; ensure timely return calls and accurate message forwarding. Assist with mail handling and categorization in alignment with plan-specific protocols.Administrative and Clerical Assistance:
Provide dependable administrative support to internal teams, including report preparation, research, and general office tasks. Collaborate with the Account Coordinator to ensure accurate and high-quality data. Support interdepartmental workflow processes and contribute to various ongoing or ad hoc projects.Client & Team Support:
Assist in addressing client service needs and ensure a positive customer experience. Support the broader team by upholding company policies and procedures. Take part in professional development activities, including educational programs and industry events, while contributing positively to team initiatives.Job Requirements :
High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Health Services or in related field, preferred. Experience with administrative or outward facing customer service. Medical terminology or work-related experience a plus but not necessary. Work experience in a healthcare administration environment a plus.Must have strong familiarity of:
MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Skills & Abilities Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. English/Spanish speaker preferred. Quick learner Ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a process-driven mindset.Physical requirements:
Must be able to ascend and descend stairs. Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods Ability to perform work on a computer for extended periods Ability to attend work and meetings with excellent attendance and punctuality Ability to bend and lift up to 25 lbs. No travel requiredPay:
