We specialize in auditing, accounting, management advisory, business valuation, tax and estate planning services. We are located in Emeryville, off highway 80 and 580 or can be easily reached by a free shuttle service from BART. We are seeking a detail-oriented motivated individual who works well in a team environment while handling multiple deadlines. The hours for this role will be Monday - Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm. Extended hours and some weekends may be required during certain times of the year.
Job Responsibilities:
The following list of tasks is meant to give you an idea of what is expected in this position. All front desk duties including answering phones, greeting clients and maintaining the reception area and conference rooms Daily incoming/outgoing mail Managing and ordering office & kitchen supplies Managing operating equipment such as printers and copiers Managing conference room calendar, set up and breakdown meetings & conference calls Cleaning and organizing the stock room and kitchen areas Put maintenance & staff requests into/Interact with property management Providing administrative support to accountants and principals Tracking professional training and completing renewals for principals and staff Assist with various firm activities - lunches, picnic, parties, etc. Tax return, Extension, & Estimated tax assembly & support to tax department Copying, filling and scanning client information Internal record keeping - firm & client related Typing letters, financial statements and other reports
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) and strong organizational skills are a must Strong attention to detail, able to follow directions. Proficient with MS Office applications including Word and Excel and good with technology Proficient with Adobe Must be flexible and willing to perform various office tasks Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work proactively Strong team player - Able to work in collaborative environment
