(Veterinary Receptionist/Client Service Specialist) Our Veterinary hospital is looking for a qualified individual to join our fast-paced, multi-doctor practice as a Client Service Specialist. This position is most often the first contact, clients have with our hospital, therefore we are looking for a team member that is friendly, energetic, professional, compassionate and has a positive attitude.
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, client-focused attitude Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy, sometimes emotionally charged environment Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn veterinary management software Genuine love for animals and sensitivity to the needs of pet owners Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and their pets with a friendly, professional demeanor upon arrival Schedule and confirm appointments using veterinary practice management software Answer multi-line phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to veterinary staff Process client payments, invoices, and maintain accurate billing records Maintain and update patient medical records and client information Communicate discharge instructions and follow-up care information to pet owners Support a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area
