We're Hiring:

Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist All American Animal Hospital is hiring a Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist! We are looking for a friendly, organized, compassionate, and dependable team member to join our veterinary healthcare team. As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you will play an important role in providing excellent customer service while helping our hospital run smoothly.

Position Details Position:
Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist Schedule:

Monday-Sunday, 8 hours per day

Pay:

$22.00-$26.01+ per hour, depending on experience

Experience:

Veterinary front-office experience preferred

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent Duties & Responsibilities Greet clients and patients in a courteous and professional manner. Answer phones and respond to client questions and inquiries. Schedule appointments accurately using electronic scheduling systems. Check patients in and ensure required forms are completed. Maintain accurate patient records, demographics, and financial information. Collect payments and outstanding balances. Coordinate communication between veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and pet owners. Notify the medical team when patients arrive and help keep appointments on schedule. Answer client questions and provide compassionate assistance to owners and their pets. Assist with emergencies and patients in distress. Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information. Keep the front desk, reception area, exam rooms, and pharmacy clean and organized. Follow hospital policies and procedures and assist team members as needed. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Positive, professional, and compassionate attitude. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using computers and electronic scheduling systems.

•Experience with EzyVet preferred. Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and front-office procedures preferred. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexible, dependable, and willing to learn. Familiarity with multi-line phones, printers, copiers, e-fax, and other standard office equipment. Commitment to maintaining client and patient confidentiality.
