Immersion Spa, a Korean-style day spa in Palo Alto, is hiring a part-time front desk receptionist, year round. Weekend availability is required. Weekends are our busiest days and the reason this position exists. You must be available at least one weekend day every week — both Saturday and Sunday are preferred and will be given high priority. If your availability is weekdays only, this is not the right job for you, and we'd rather you not spend time applying. The Schedule Minimum three shifts per week, at least one of them Saturday or Sunday. A mix of opening and closing shifts. This is not a mornings-only role. Year-round and permanent. We train heavily, so we are not hiring for a summer or a short-term internship. We build the schedule around a set weekly availability. We can be flexible about which days, not about whether weekends are included. What you'll do Book and manage appointments in our booking platform, and assign each one to the correct therapist. Accuracy matters here — a booking on the wrong therapist's schedule costs us the slot and the guest's afternoon. Greet guests, check them in and out, and keep the front of the house calm and organized. Answer the phone and respond to inquiries. Process payments and handle point-of-sale. Open or close the spa, including cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation. Keep the front desk area clean and stocked, and help with light office tasks. Sell and answer questions about our Aveda retail line.

Experience & Skills:

Reliable. The front desk opens and closes the spa. If you're not here on time, no one gets in. Comfortable with scheduling and POS software. You don't need to know our software; you do need to pick up software quickly. Strong with people and able to juggle a ringing phone, a guest at the counter, and a therapist who needs something, without losing your composure. Spa or salon experience is a plus, not a requirement. We'll train the right person. Location We're at 3990 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA 94306.
