This is a key role on our team — you are the first impression for our clients and the support hub for our groomers. You will work closely with the Grooming Manager, groomers, and clients to keep the day running smoothly, professionally, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Check pets in and out for grooming appointments Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the booking system Process credit card and cash transactions accurately Enter and update client and pet information Explain pricing, policies, and grooming services Contact veterinary clinics to verify vaccination records Call, text, or email clients for appointment confirmations and reminders Assist pet parents with their pets during drop-off and pick-up Monitor pets and report any concerns to management Complete daily and weekly task lists Assist with other salon duties as needed to support operations and pet care Qualifications High school diploma or GED Comfortable using computers, booking systems, and Microsoft Word Strong communication and customer-service skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask Confident, energetic, and professional in appearance Able to work independently and stay focused in a busy environment Reliable, punctual, and flexible to business needs Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes and temperaments If you love dogs, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy making people smile, we'd love to meet you.
