Rocklin, CA Pay Rate:
$21 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (must be ready to start at 7:50 AM)

(Temp period 6 months) Position Overview Our Client is seeking a professional and dependable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors. This role goes beyond answering phones and requires a highly organized individual who can assist with administrative and light production support duties in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, can multitask effectively, and is willing to assist various departments as business needs change throughout the day. While call volume can be high during busy seasons, there are also slower periods when the receptionist supports production-related tasks. Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Customer Service Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently. Determine whether callers need sales assistance or technical support and route calls to the appropriate department. Transfer calls and direct callers to voicemail when team members are unavailable. Greet visitors and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain a professional and welcoming front office environment. Administrative Support Assist with general clerical and administrative tasks as assigned. Support multiple departments with daily operational needs. Manage and prioritize tasks while handling incoming communications. Production Support Count and bundle bags in groups of 100 every Monday. Count connectors and assist with inventory-related tasks for various departments. Perform additional light production or organizational duties during slower periods. Qualifications Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, or front desk experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable handling a multi-line phone system. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when counting and organizing materials. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Basic computer skills and ability to learn company systems. Work Environment Fast-paced during peak business periods with varying call volumes. Some days are quieter, allowing time to support production and other departments. Collaborative team environment with cross-functional support opportunities.
