Job Description
Animal Outpatient Specialty Network seeks a Veterinary District Manager to lead multi-clinic performance in our veterinary health network. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee several hospitals, partnering with veterinarians and practice managers to ensure exceptional patient care, consistent client experiences, and strong financial results. Responsibilities include managing P&L, setting and tracking KPIs, standardizing operations, supporting hiring and development of clinic leaders, and driving growth initiatives. The ideal candidate brings multi-site veterinary management experience, strong analytical and people-leadership skills, and comfort in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities Oversee performance of multiple veterinary hospitals within an assigned district Partner with medical leaders to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical standards Drive revenue growth, manage P&L, and optimize clinic-level KPIs Hire, mentor, and develop practice managers and clinic leadership teams Implement standardized workflows, policies, and compliance programs across locations Enhance client experience and support resolution of escalated service issues Lead operational initiatives, expansions, and special projects aligned with network strategy Monitor inventory, pharmacy practices, and cost controls to improve margins Analyze operational data and present results, insights, and action plans to senior leadership Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement Required Skills Multi-site veterinary operations management Clinical quality and compliance oversight Financial analysis and budgeting KPI development and performance management Staff leadership and coaching Client experience management Strategic planning and territory growth Inventory and pharmacy management Regulatory and OSHA compliance Data reporting and presentation
