Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking energetic and personable Front Desk Staff to serve as the welcoming face of our dance studio. In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating a positive first impression by providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth office operations. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help foster a professional and friendly environment for clients, visitors, and team members alike. Duties Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails and inquiries Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments, maintaining visitor logs, and handling incoming correspondence Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, proofreading documents, and updating records using Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel Support office management by organizing supplies, maintaining cleanliness of the reception area, and assisting with light administrative duties Communicate effectively with clients and staff through clear verbal and written correspondence Demonstrate strong organizational skills by managing multiple tasks efficiently and prioritizing responsibilities effectively Qualifications Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse client needs effectively Proven experience in office management or administrative support roles with a focus on front desk responsibilities Experience using Mindbody to schedule appointments, manage client accounts, and process payments Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with strong computer literacy and typing skills Previous experience answering phone systems and providing excellent phone reception with proper phone etiquette Demonstrated clerical experience including filing, proofreading, and customer support functions Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills for client communication and customer service excellence Personal assistant or office experience is a plus; familiarity with dance, fitness, hospitality, or event planning is a plus, but not required The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, can stay calm under pressure, and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for students of all ages. You'll be an important part of our team, helping keep the studio running smoothly while ensuring every visitor feels at home.
