This role blends client experience, membership sales, lead generation, and studio operations—ideal for a polished professional with a genuine passion for wellness as a lifestyle and Pilates, a proven sales track record, and the confidence to own this role from day one. You're an excellent communicator (written + verbal), creative, intrinsically motivated, and know how to deliver top-notch client service. Must be based in Santa Barbara/Goleta/Montecito with reliable transportation and a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Ideally someone planning to be in town long-term, including through the holidays. Responsibilities Greet and check in clients with warmth and professionalism; get to know them on a first-name basis and be able to converse with them on a personal level (make them feel special) Manage class bookings + private bookings using MindBody Answer phones, texts, and emails; resolve client inquiries promptly—get creative and use your critical thinking skills to problem solve. Loop in your manager when needed—come with a proposed solution, not just a forwarded problem. Lead studio tours to every new client and deliver a seamless, premium in-studio experience Proactively sell memberships, class packages, and retail products in-person, via phone, messenger, email, and text Use MindBody Lead Management Tool to track leads, conduct daily outreach, with the goal always being to book clients into class, answer questions, and convert prospects Maintain organized client notes in MBO and follow-up schedules Keep the studio clean and welcoming (front desk, lobby, reformers, floors, laundry)—treat it like it's your own, with high attention to detail. Support offsite + onsite events, tabling, and collaborate with the Studio Manager, Instructor Manager, FD Team + Instructor Team Requirements 2+ years in a client-facing, high-touch service role 2+ years of direct sales experience and proven track record(fitness studios preferred; membership or package sales preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong critical thinker + motivated individual with ability to work independently + confidently Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy environment Proactive, solutions-oriented, and team-focused Passion for Pilates, fitness, and wellness Knowledge of Pilates a plus MindBody experience a plus Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends Schedule Shifts range from 3-7 hours. Early mornings (6:30-7:30 AM start), evenings (until 7 or 8 PM), and weekends (mornings). Minimum 1-2 shifts per week. Must be able to step in and sub.
