The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. This role requires a genuine love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival at the clinic. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records and manage medical collection processes. Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient intake, including gathering medical history and performing initial assessments. Handle payments and process transactions in a timely manner. Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets. Provide information on pet care, including animal husbandry, nutrition, and wellness programs. Skills Strong knowledge of animal anatomy to assist in client education and support veterinary staff effectively. Familiarity with medical collection processes within a veterinary setting is beneficial. Proficiency in handling various types of animals, including dogs and cats, ensuring their comfort during visits. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, and pets alike. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
