Role Description The Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This position is responsible for welcoming clients, answering and directing phone calls, managing front desk inquiries, and maintaining a professional and organized reception area. Daily tasks include scheduling appointments, handling mail and deliveries, supporting basic clerical and administrative functions, and coordinating with tax and accounting staff to ensure smooth office operations. The Receptionist also provides courteous customer service, shares general information about services, and helps clients feel supported from the moment they arrive or call. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills when interacting with clients and colleagues. Candidates should possess core receptionist duties experience, including greeting visitors, managing appointments, and handling front desk operations. Candidates should possess clerical skills such as data entry, filing, document organization, and basic office software proficiency (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets). Candidates should possess customer service skills, including a friendly demeanor, patience, and the ability to address client questions or concerns effectively. Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in an office or professional services environment, reliability and attention to detail, strong time management, and a high school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is a plus).
