In this multifaceted role, you will be the friendly face greeting clients, ensuring the comfort and safety of animals in our care, and facilitating engaging play and enrichment activities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine customer service, animal handling, and facility maintenance in a lively pet care setting. Your energy and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional pet experiences every day! Duties Greet clients warmly, answer questions, and check pets in and out for boarding, daycare, or grooming services Assist with pet handling, including feeding, walking, playing, and providing enrichment to promote animal well-being Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces through regular sanitization and organization Support animal restraint during examinations or grooming procedures using safe handling techniques Monitor animals' behavior to identify signs of stress or discomfort and communicate with team members accordingly Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and updating pet care records accurately Assist with outdoor activities such as dog walking or supervised playtime in secure outdoor spaces Requirements Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly desirable Experience with dog training, or animal handling not necessary. On the job training. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or animals Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Familiarity with pet grooming, animal restraint techniques, and pet care facility sanitization practices Outdoor work experience is a plus for supervising outdoor play areas Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about animal care and eager to contribute to a positive pet-focused community.
