Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Secretary/Receptionist - Book Keeper to join our team! This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with comprehensive bookkeeping duties, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate financial management. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organized, and possess a strong foundation in accounting systems and administrative support. Duties Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and manage front desk operations with enthusiasm and professionalism Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and handle correspondence efficiently Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Quicken Process payroll, manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank reconciliations Prepare journal entries, perform general ledger accounting, and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Conduct account analysis, reconcile balance sheets, and assist with budgeting activities Generate financial reports, perform account reconciliation tasks including double entry bookkeeping and account analysis Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with familiarity in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or Quicken Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable management, and bank reconciliation processes Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial report writing to support accurate record keeping and analysis Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of accounting standards such as GAAP and technical accounting practices is preferred Strong communication skills with a focus on detail-oriented work like 10 key typing and account reconciliation Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence in administrative support and financial management.
