The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring a smooth operation of our front desk. Receptionist responsibilities include answering phone calls and emails, scheduling patients, sending messages to physicians and nurses. Duties Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Manage incoming calls using phone systems, directing them to the appropriate personnel. Checking-in patients in a timely manner. Verifying insurance for each patient. Maintaining good communication between staff members. Collecting and documenting all fees and copayments at time of visit. Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming environment. Handle patient/customer inquiries with patience and professionalism, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Scheduling appointments and managing patient record. Requirements Experience as a medical receptionist is preferred. Computer skills. Applicant should have at least a high school diploma. Attention to detail and accuracy. Positive and pleasant demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Experience in medical reception is an advantage but not required.
