In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a smooth operation within our veterinary clinic. Your passion for animal care and strong communication skills will be essential in creating a welcoming environment for both clients and their pets. Duties Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail. Assist veterinarians and technicians with animal handling during examinations or procedures as needed. Provide information to clients about pet care, including nutrition, grooming, and general health tips. Maintain cleanliness in the reception area and ensure that all supplies are stocked. Handle any client concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy. Qualifications Previous experience in a veterinary setting or animal care environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and husbandry practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with animal handling techniques, including restraint methods for various species. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. A compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners is essential. Experience in pet grooming or veterinary critical care is a plus but not required.
