QPS, LLC
is seeking a dependable, professional, and service-oriented Associate I, Reception to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, vendors, and callers to our Bioanalytical department. This position provides professional front-desk coverage while supporting day-to-day office operations, visitor and building access procedures, mail and deliveries, office supplies, facilities coordination, and general administrative needs. This is a fully onsite position and is best suited for someone seeking a stable, long-term opportunity in a professional office environment. The successful candidate will be dependable and organized, communicate professionally with a wide range of people, follow established procedures, and use sound judgment when handling routine and unfamiliar situations.

Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:00am•5:00pm
Pay:
$19.00•$20.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience Candidates must be able to reliably commute to our Newark, DE facility each workday. Candidates located more than approximately 30 minutes from the facility are unlikely to be considered. The Job Greet and assist visitors, employees, vendors, and callers in a professional and courteous manner. Answer, screen, and route incoming calls and inquiries. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area. Support visitor check-in, badge management, building access, and security procedures. Monitor front-desk activity and report security, safety, or emergency concerns. Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries; prepare outgoing shipments as needed. Monitor office and shared supplies and place approved orders. Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, copying, and scheduling assistance. Assist with meetings, catering, vendors, and facilities coordination as assigned. Help ensure front-desk and office procedures are followed consistently. Exercise good judgment when handling visitors, deliveries, access requests, security concerns, or situations that fall outside established procedures, seeking guidance or escalating issues when appropriate. Perform other administrative and office support duties as assigned. Work Location This job will be 100% QPS-office/facility based Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in reception, front desk, customer service, administrative support, office support, or a similar professional environment preferred. Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain professional and calm under pressure Ability to follow established security, visitor management, confidentiality, and emergency procedures Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, calendars, and standard office equipment Dependable, professional, service-oriented, and willing to learn company procedures and systems Familiarity with graphic design or illustration software is a plus Why You Should Apply Great learning opportunities, especially for those new to the field.
