Job Description

Overview We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist/SPED Clerk to join our team Monday-Friday, from 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.. This role is vital in providing exceptional administrative support, managing front desk operations, and assisting with special education department needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong office management skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with various office software. Bilingual proficiency is a plus to effectively serve diverse student and parent populations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a supportive educational environment while developing your administrative expertise. Responsibilities Greet visitors, students, staff, and parents in a courteous and professional manner at the front desk Manage multi-line phone systems, direct calls appropriately, and take detailed messages Maintain accurate data entry and filing systems for student records and departmental documentation Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other computer applications for daily tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping Handle clerical duties including meeting scheduling, managing paperwork and organizing files. Provide customer service support to parents, students, and staff with professionalism and courtesy Requirements Prior office experience with strong clerical skills and familiarity with office management procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools Experience with data entry, filing systems, and document proofreading Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Strong phone etiquette skills and experience managing multi-line phone systems Bilingual abilities are preferred to assist diverse populations effectively Previous experience in customer service or administrative support roles preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is essential in ensuring efficient front desk operations while supporting the educational team's administrative needs.
