Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual Front Desk Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, checking patients in making appointments, completing patient paperwork, scanning documents, answering phones, sorting faxes and various front desk tasks. This is a long term position.
Duties:
  • Greet and direct patients in a professional manner
  • Check in patients, provide paperwork, collect ID and Insurance
  • Answer phone calls, make appointments and direct inquiries to the appropriate person
  • Assist patients with completing paperwork and provide information about our office
  • Handle patients promptly and courteously
  • Enter data into the PM, EHR and Lasik systems
  • Authorizations and Eligibility
  • Collect payments and multitask
Requirements:
MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND ENGLISH AND SPANISH
  • Previous experience in a physicians office
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Experience with an Electronic Health Record
  • Knowledge of front desk operations
  • Ophthalmology experience preferred Join our team as a Front Desk Associate to contribute to creating memorable experiences for our patients in our busy Specialist Office.
