Palencia Pet Clinic is a privately owned, five-doctor veterinary hospital in beautiful north St. Augustine seeking an experienced Client Care Coordinator (Receptionist) to join our growing team. We are dedicated to providing exceptional medicine while creating an outstanding experience for every client and patient who walks through our doors. As the first face and voice of our hospital, our Client Care Coordinators play a critical role in creating lasting relationships with our clients. We're looking for someone who is warm, compassionate, organized, dependable, and thrives on helping both people and their pets. What You'll Do Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism Schedule appointments and manage a busy appointment calendar Answer multiple phone lines while providing exceptional customer service Process payments and maintain accurate medical records Communicate effectively with doctors, technicians, and fellow team members Assist clients with medication refills, food orders, and general questions Help maintain an organized and efficient front office Create a positive experience for every client who visits our hospital We're Looking For Someone Who Is Friendly, compassionate, and confident Highly organized and detail-oriented A strong multitasker who remains calm under pressure A dependable self-starter with excellent communication skills A team player with a positive attitude and great sense of humor Passionate about providing exceptional client service Previous experience with Covetrus Pulse is a plus, but not required. Qualifications Required Minimum 1 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital or pet boarding facility Minimum 1 year of customer service experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Preferred Two or more years of veterinary experience Experience with veterinary practice management software Please note: We are specifically seeking candidates with prior veterinary or pet boarding experience.
