We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at our Jacksonville Airport clinic! This role combines front desk responsibilities with light veterinary technician support, including assisting with patient handling, exam room preparation, and basic animal care tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced veterinary environment. As a Veterinary Receptionist , you will: Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and provide a positive, professional first impression Escort clients and their pets into exam rooms and communicate effectively with veterinary staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care Check clients in and out, process payments, and maintain accurate records in the system Collect and update patient information to ensure medical records are current Answer and direct multiple phone lines promptly and courteously Handle client inquiries regarding services, products, or general pet care information Assist with prescription refills and relay information between clients and the veterinary team as needed Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and exam rooms Assist with pet supply purchases (supplements, grooming items, over the counter treatments, or other items) Support the team with daily administrative or client services tasks as needed
