Job Description
Position:
Front Desk Receptionist Reports to: Clinic Manager Position Overview The Receptionist works under the direct supervision of the Clinic Manager. The environment is fast-paced and the position is multifaceted. This position is always patient facing and excellent customer service is crucial. Essential Job Functions Ensure that each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every patient, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service Use a multi-line phone system to answer and appropriately route all incoming calls. Monitor phone line, text messages and fax communications. Uses the EMR to check in/out all patient visits. Collect account receivable balances. Conducts follow up calls to patients to discuss the patient's progress and address any concerns Refers non-routine, sensitive and/or complex requests for information and other inquiries or complaints to the appropriate staff member Participates in clinic marketing efforts and provides ongoing support to promote clinic profitability and success Administrative Job Functions Filing patient records in a timely manner Accurately and securely maintain all financials for services rendered and products sold Responsible for verifying the accuracy of the daily receipts and developing a "daily batch" to be submitted to the Clinic Manager Assist with daily monitoring of inventory levels of all clinical and office supplies Trains additional staff on daily procedures when requested by the office manager and/or physicianOther Skills/Abilities:
