We're looking for a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our founding team. About the Role At ROVARA, the front desk sits at the center of the client experience. Our receptionist will welcome clients and help set the tone when they arrive, but this role goes well beyond a warm greeting. You'll help coordinate the rhythm of the day—managing schedules and communication, answering client questions, supporting our massage therapists, and keeping the many small details of daily operations moving smoothly. We're looking for someone organized, perceptive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities. You should be able to communicate warmly and professionally, notice what needs attention, manage competing priorities, and use good judgment when the unexpected happens.
Responsibilities include:
Welcome clients and manage check-in and checkout Manage appointment scheduling and assist with membership and general client questions Answer and manage phone, email, and front-desk communication Coordinate with massage therapists and management throughout the day Help maintain an organized, welcoming reception and studio environment Support basic daily operational needs Help create a smooth, consistent client experience from arrival through departure We'd especially like to meet someone who: Is highly organized and attentive to detail Communicates clearly and professionally Is warm and welcoming without being overly performative Can manage multiple priorities without becoming easily flustered Takes initiative and notices what needs to be done Is dependable and comfortable working with a high degree of trust Values professionalism, teamwork, and excellent client service Previous front-desk, hospitality, administrative, spa/wellness, or customer-service experience is helpful, but we're equally interested in candidates who demonstrate strong judgment, organization, communication, and a genuine ability to care for people well.
