Receptionist AMVC Veterinary Services Job Type:
Part-Time Schedule:
Tuesdays and Thursdays, approximately 8 hours per day Position Summary AMVC Veterinary Services is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and animals in a fast-paced veterinary environment. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding customer service while supporting our veterinarians and clinic staff with a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. Responsibilities Greet and assist clients in a professional, friendly manner. Answer telephones and provide exceptional customer service. Schedule appointments, allowing appropriate time for the services requested. Prepare invoices and process payments for services rendered. Maintain inventory by organizing and restocking supplies. Perform general housekeeping to keep the reception and work areas clean and organized. File and maintain clinic records. Perform occasional laboratory duties, including preparing medications and shipping blood samples. Provide backup support for ordering, billing, and accounts receivable. Assist veterinarians during medical procedures and appointments as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and friendly, professional demeanor. Strong attention to detail. Self-motivated, energetic, and dependable. Punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Basic computer and keyboarding skills. Animal handling experience preferred. Knowledge of veterinary medicine or veterinary services preferred.
