Job Description

Position Summary:
The Receptionist serves as an ambassador for the facility by courteously greeting employees and guests of the facility. The Receptionist also answers all incoming calls and efficiently assists the callers or routes them to the appropriate employee. Will be first point of contact for guests and family members. Will support staff by ensuring safe environment and assisting in our Medical Records department as needed.
Note:
All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each state's specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses/Certification:
None required.
Experience:
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred. Essential Functions Answers all incoming phone calls to the facility and transfers the calls to the correct person. Assist in our Medical Records department as needed. Greets all staff, residents, and guests in a courteous manner. Directs guests and family members to resident's rooms. Assists vendors with questions and/or directs them to the correct person. Works closely with the CEO, Medical Records Manager, and Human Resources/Payroll designee as well as members of the interdisciplinary team. Serves as a general resource for information for all facility employees, residents and guests. Ensures punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts. Skills Microsoft Office proficiency Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Technical skills Phone system management Light IT support Soft skills
