Job Description

Platt Professional Counseling is seeking to hire an experienced and knowledgeable behavioral healthcare receptionist to join our team. We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person with prior receptionist experience to provide excellent client care and support to our clinicians. The responsibilities of the position include:
  • Greeting clients
  • Answering the phone
  • Managing client appointments and clinicians schedules in practice software system
  • On boarding new clients in practice software system
  • Assisting counselors with questions regarding office procedures
  • Gathering client insurance information accurately
  • Posting payments at front desk
  • Checking intake documents for completion
  • Resolving clients' concerns and answering questions
  • Familiarity with requirements of HIPAA regulations and maintaining highest level of confidentiality
  • Other office duties as assigned This is a part-time position, approximately 15-20 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $16
  • 18 depending on work experience.
We are looking for a reliable, detail orientated, ethical, individual who is able to work with a team as well as independently. Skill set required includes problem solving skills, the ability to be self-motivated in order to succeed in this position, and proficiency with computers.
Schedule:
Weekdays, day shift and some early evenings until 6:30
