Responsibilities Greet pet owners and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and answering questions about pet care services Schedule appointments for grooming, day care, and boarding services with efficiency and professionalism Handle animal intake and discharge processes, ensuring proper documentation and communication with pet owners Assist with animal handling, including dog training, dog handling, animal restraint, and general care to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain cleanliness of kennels, grooming areas, and common spaces; perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or animals safely Provide basic pet grooming services such as bathing or brushing as needed Qualifications Prior experience in kennel work or animal handling is highly preferred; familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant roles is a plus Knowledge of dog training techniques and pet grooming practices is desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques; experience with veterinary or pet sitting is advantageous Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods; comfort working in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of animal care standards and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of pets at all times Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
