Job Description

Company Overview Eyecare Associates has been caring for families in the New Orleans community for over 40 years. Our doctors' experience and commitment to their patients' comprehensive eye care needs, has made them some of the most highly respected and trusted eye care providers in the south. Our team is dedicated to making certain our patients benefit from the safest and latest technological advances in vision health. Position Summary The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, creating a welcoming environment, handling patient check in/outs, managing calls/emails, scheduling, providing information, resolving issues, and performing administrative tasks like data entry ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service in medical facilities.
Responsibilities Education:
    High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate Required Skills:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office/health care setting
    • Minimum 2 years of health care insurance experience
    • Strong computer knowledge and skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
    • Strong desire to assist others and provide excellent customer service
    • Must be highly dependable and organized
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills
    • An impeccably clean, polished, professional image
    • The ability to learn quickly, retain training, problem solve and think independently
    Preferred Skills:
    • Understanding of medical terminology Qualifications
    • Dependable transportation required to travel to other offices as required
    • Must be flexible with traveling to various locations.
    • Ability to pay attention to detail
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • The ability to seek instruction in areas where he/she is not knowledgeable
    • The ability to recognize inconsistencies
    Education:
