Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Inspire students as a Spanish Teacher at a high school setting, working with engaged learners in a supportive educational environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to teach full-time, bringing Spanish language and culture to life for high school students. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the school year in late May 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans for Spanish courses, tailored to high school grade levels. Foster an inclusive classroom where all students are encouraged to participate and succeed. Assess student progress regularly and provide targeted feedback to support language acquisition. Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff to enrich the foreign language curriculum. Help promote cultural awareness and understanding within the student body.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Louisiana Spanish/Foreign Language Educator Certificate qualifying you to teach high school grades is required. Demonstrated ability to teach Spanish to adolescents in an educational setting. Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. Experience creating engaging lesson materials and adapting instructional methods to meet student needs. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team onsite.
