Job Description

We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Someone who can handle pressure and high volume calling as well as manage and coordinate a busy appointment schedule for multiple attorneys. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist's duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, a Receptionist's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Job duties:
Welcoming visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Handling all calls with professionalism and courtesy Answering all incoming calls and transferring calls to respective staff members Listening and taking all messages Maintaining a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Scheduling new client appointments Prepping clients for their intake and helping clients with required steps to become a new client Reminding clients of their upcoming appointments Calling and following up with all website leads for potential new clients Taking inventory and ordering office supplies Scanning, photocopying, and faxing documents Receptionist skills and requirements: Telephone Skills, Verbal Communication, Microsoft Office Skills, Listening, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Organization, Informing Others, Handles Pressure, Phone Skills, Supply Management Required experience: 2-3 years min.
Ideal hours:
8:30am-5pm (1 hour paid lunch break), Monday-Friday.
