Receptionist Temporary Position - Minimum 4 Weeks, with Potential to Extend Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

•Rice & Kendig Injury Lawyers is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Receptionist to provide full-time coverage. This position will primarily serve as our front desk receptionist while also being cross-trained to assist with new client intake. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, comfortable speaking with people on the phone and in person, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in a busy professional office. Reception & Front Desk Responsibilities Greet clients, potential clients, vendors, and other visitors in a warm and professional manner Answer and route incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously Take accurate and detailed messages and ensure they are communicated to the appropriate team member Maintain a professional and welcoming front desk and reception area Assist clients and visitors with general questions and direct them to the appropriate team member Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries Assist with outgoing mail, scanning, copying, filing, and other general administrative tasks Maintain confidentiality when handling client and firm information Provide general administrative support to the team as needed Intake & Client Support Provide an excellent experience to potential clients from their first interaction with the firm Take and document incoming potential client calls Enter all new potential client information into the firm's lead management system accurately and timely Assist with contacting and following up with potential clients Schedule potential client consultations, ideally the same day or within 24 hours of the initial inquiry Assist with electronic intake and collection of required information and documents Create client contact information and assist with opening new files when applicable Send electronic signature documents and assist with obtaining necessary documentation Assist with communication between the firm's lead management and case management systems Provide additional intake support as trained and assigned Qualifications At least 1 year of previous customer service and office experience Professional, friendly, and dependable Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable speaking with clients and potential clients by phone and in person Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced office environment Comfortable learning new software and office systems Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally Reliable and able to consistently work Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
